Our Approach

Silo Sanctuary opposes illegal activity of any kind. We work within Mexican law to connect guests with experienced facilitators of traditional plant medicine ceremony, in a tradition that has been practiced in this region for generations.

Your Responsibility

Participation in a Silo Sanctuary ceremony is a personal choice. We ask every guest to research the experience, come prepared, and understand that any outcomes from participating — positive or otherwise — ultimately rest with the individual. This is informed consent, not a waiver of care on our part: our guides are present and trained to support you throughout.

Ceremony & Lodging Are Booked Separately

Silo Sanctuary is not a hotel. Ceremony packages and accommodations at our partner Tulum wellness center are billed and reserved separately. We recommend wellness-focused lodging rather than party-oriented venues, since the days around ceremony are best spent somewhere quiet.

Payment

A 50% deposit on the ceremony is required, collected via PayPal, to hold your ceremony date. The remaining balance can be paid in cash or via Venmo on arrival; a small processing fee applies to Venmo payments.

A Note on Access to Medicine

Because psilocybin is legally restricted in many countries outside Mexico, our packages are priced around facilitation, guidance, and the ceremony experience itself — not as a line-item sale of the medicine. Our shamans provide access to the plant medicine as part of the ceremonies they lead, under their own guidance and tradition.

Medications

Please research potential interactions between psilocybin and any medications you're currently taking, especially SSRIs, and speak with a licensed healthcare professional before attending a ceremony.
